It can also be called liposuction surgery. Liposuction is a surgical operation in which fat tissue cannot be removed by diet and exercise.
During the surgery, 1-2 mm incisions are made in the target tissue and thin cannulas 2-3 mm in diameter are passed through and the fatty tissue melted by various procedures is suctioned and removed from the body using long cannulas.
There are different applications for liposuction depending on how the fat tissue is melted in the body.
Classic liposuction: Fat tissue is broken down directly by mechanical energy. Usually controlled by hand, the fatty tissue is broken up under the skin using cannulas and removed from the body.
Vaser liposuction; ultrasonic waves are applied to the fat cells in the target tissue to dissolve the fat cells, and the melting fat tissue is removed from the body using cannulas.
